Solve the words and route together

Rikivo Words combines incomplete word clues with a five-by-five letter grid. Complete the clues in order, using each tile once. The path does not stop at the end of a word: its last letter connects to the first letter of the next.

The square you leave determines the distance to the next letter. White means one square, light gray means two and dark gray means three. Every move is horizontal or vertical. A word that matches the clue is only a candidate until its letters can follow those distances.

Leigh, the maker of both Rikivo games, describes Words in his October 2 submission as a word-and-logic puzzle: solve the missing words, then connect their letters into one continuous route that uses every tile once. He proposes both games for Word & Logic and says a new puzzle appears daily. This guide keeps that description distinct from the limited placement test reported here.

Keep the next word reachable

Inspect the provided clue letters before committing a route. If a candidate needs a letter that cannot be reached from the previous tile, revise the word or the tile choice. Repeated letters are not interchangeable: their locations and departure shades can lead to different continuations.

The anonymous daily board displayed five word clues and a Medium difficulty label. Selecting a letter and filling a clue position marked the tile as used and enabled Undo and Reset. This check did not complete the path or establish the precise reset timezone. No payment was needed to enter the board and use its controls.
