Pixletters
Guess five-letter words by reading dot-matrix glyphs and pixel-level color feedback, learning which tiny parts of each displayed letter must or must not appear.
The official game is loaded above. If it does not respond, open the publisher’s site in a new tab.
Why it stands out
The clue is not the letter—it is the collection of pixels that draws it.
Pixletters creates a genuinely different information layer for a five-letter puzzle. Players reason about how glyphs are drawn before they can reason about the word those glyphs spell.
Best for
- Visual word-game players who enjoy decoding shapes as well as spelling patterns.
- Puzzle fans who want practice and pack modes beyond a single daily attempt.
Think twice if
- Players who find dot-matrix letterforms difficult to distinguish.
The official tutorial defines feedback at pixel level. Blue marks a pixel in the correct letter, green means the target glyph must contain that pixel, and red rules the pixel out; gray remains unresolved.
That model makes even a wrong word visually informative. Practice and numbered packs also provide room to learn the glyph system before relying on the timed daily selection.
How to play
- Open a daily, practice, or pack puzzle and study the five dot-matrix letter positions.
- Type a valid five-letter word and submit it as one of the available attempts.
- Use blue correct pixels plus green required, red forbidden, and gray unknown pixels to reconstruct each letter shape.
